One of the players in this game is Hasbro. The other is the collective brony hive mind. Who do you think is playing 'First' and who do you think is playing 'Second'?

Amazing art of Fluttershy credited to :iconnoxx-ious:. She will undoubtedly be uploading the full image on her account soon, so go and give her a watch and plenty of praise.

They seem mutually beneficial and detrimental to each other all at once. How very interesting... I shall say that Hasbro is First and the Brony Hive-mind is Second. Without the hive-mind, Hasbro cannot learn from its mistakes despite its claims and without Hasbro, the hive-mind lacks purpose. Yin and Yang... One can exist without the other but both have everything to lose. What point are you trying to illustrate with this? The mutual futility of either's endeavors to please the other? That it is a struggle without end because of the stubborn pride of both?

Hm... maybe... the fist is Hasbro and the second are the bronies?

Well, it reminds me of Der Jasager and Der Neinsager, a pair of plays by Bertolt Brecht.

I enjoyed this too much. Bravo!

Annnd, I'm pretty sure that First is Bronies and second is Hasbro.
But then again...
no..
Gah! this is tough.

Could I have a hint? :please:

Do you think that Hasbro are dragging bronies down and slowing their progress?

Hmm...
Well depending on how you look at it, it could go either way... I think.

Because, bronies be causing trouble up in Hasbro's neighborhood, but Hasbro is also a lame-o corporation that puts a damper on the bronyverse. And it seems, like others have mentioned, that it's an endless cycle in which nobody learns and nothing changes...

Final verdict: for the most part, bronies=1 and Hasbro=2

I think First is bronies and second is Hasbro. Bronies wish to work with Hasbro, but Hasbro is stubborn and doesn't want to work with the bronies. That's my guess. :/

Yes! I'm glad you got the 'never-ending cycle' thingy.

What do you think the secret was?

Who do you think is Hasbro and who do you think is the fandom?

This was an interesting read. I'm thinking of checking Beckett's "Endgame" now.
As for the message of this... Well, you could make arguments for both sides so let's just say that it gets people thinking and that's already a pretty good thing.

You'll either love it or you'll hate it. Or both. I quite despise Endgame, and yet I find myself enjoying it all the same. It helps that it's quite short.

Considering your disposition I think I know witch is witch. It was a bit tough to read though as the wording was really stiff but I'm going to assume that is a stylistic choice. Right?

Haha. It's a parody of Beckett's 'Endgame', which is an exercise in 'stiff' minimalism and then some!

Well considering how both 1 and 2 drag each other down, it's still hard to place. For all we know, they could be one AND the other. Hasbro can be 1 or 2 yet the bronies can be 2 or 1. It works both ways.

You just said the phrase I was waiting for that I wasn't sure anyone would say. The major point of this play is that the relationship between Hasbro and the fandom works both ways.
