In a way, Phraynx was almost going through a similar phase as his brother, Thorax was in "The Times They Are A Changeling". Both were treated unfairly because of who they were (Thorax = too nice amongst sinister, Phraynx = too harsh amongst innocent), and both weren't trusted except for one person (Thorax = not trusted amongst ponies except Spike, Phraynx = not trust amongst his own pack except Thorax). However, their acceptance is different with a few minor details.
Thorax was accepted in a new life and family with the ponies, full well knowing he was shunned back home with the changeling hive. Where as with Phraynx, he was already welcomed in the pack, yet his fear was more so of not being accepted as well as shunned by his own kind. Like I said, a minor difference but quite an interesting one. Also, is it just me or do I get a Celestia & Luna vibe from these two brothers.
